Description

Bronze sculpture group of a soldier firing a gun while he supports a wounded colleage, and a dead soldier at their feet. They are guarded by the Republic of France, represented by a woman with a Phrygian cap and a French flag.
On the sides of the pedestal medallions with relief portrait of a Greek warrior.
