Annotation

In 1845 the equestrian statue was place in the Cour Carrée of the Louvre in Paris. An identical statue was placed in Alger. After the Revolution of 1848 the Paris statue was placed in Versailles on the cour of the Petite Orangerie. In 1971 it was placed in Eu near the castle. The Alger statue is at present in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
