Bogny-sur-Meuse / Le Chevalier Dardennor   Bogny-sur-Meuse / Le Chevalier Dardennor

Description

Four meter high metal statue of Knight Dardennor, on one knee, presenting his sword. The statue stands on the edge of a rock, looking out to the monument of the Four Aymon Brothers across the river Meuse. On his shield is a depiction of a boar's head, the boar is the symbol of the Ardennes. The name 'Dardennor' is obviously derived from 'd'Ardenne'.
