Description

Three statues in niches in the façade of the église Sainte-Catherine:
  1. (top) La Vierge miséricordieuse / The merciful Virgin
  2. (left) Saint Thomas de Villeneuve / St. Thomas of Villanova (Fuenllana near Villanueva de los Infantes, Castille c. 1487 - Valencia 1555), preacher, ascetic, writer and Spanish friar of the Order of Saint Augustine (Wikipedia).
  3. (right) Saint Vincent de Paul (Pouy près Dax 1581 - Paris 1660), priest who became dedicated to serving the poor; canonized in 1737 (Wikipedia).
