Bronze portrait medallion in the upper part of the doorway, circumscribed chateaubriand 1748 1848.
Signed: a terroir / d'apres / david d'angers / =1935=
Chateaubriand lived here until 1776. The façade is reconstructed in 1951 after the building was destroyed in 1944.
