Description

Stone stele with on the main face of a bronze relief depicting the two brothers Frémine: charles - aristide. On the other side is bronze reliefs including a medallion portrait of Le Véel and a representation of one of his most famous works, the equestrian statue of Napoleon I of Cherbourg. At the top, a lyre, apples and paper sheets refer to the talent of the Frémines to sing of the beauties of Normandy, while the chisel, pair of compasses and hammer symbolize sculpting.
