Fountain Poppa of Bayeux
Poppa or Popée, daughter of Beranger, Duke of Bayeux, who became the wife of Rollo, the first Duke of Normandy
Fountain with a statue of Poppa of Bayeux, as an allegorical figure representing the town of Bayeux.
This fountain was built in 1888 with funds from a donation from Louis-Eugène Niobey (1808-1895), former mayor of the Bayeux.
