Octagonal basin, with in the center a sandstone pedestal with a relief of Saint-Odile, topped by a cast-iron statue of a woman with a laurel wreath, representing Le Printemps (The Spring).
Signed: (probably) barbezat & cie
The statue is identical with model T on plate 571 in the 1880 catalogue of the fonderie du Val d'Osne.
- Mathurin Moreau (Dijon 1822 - Paris 1912),
French sculptor, worked for the Société anonyme des hauts-fourneaux et fonderies du Val d'Osne, anciennes masions J.P.V. André, Barbezat et Cie, Fourment Houille et Cie, J.J. Ducel et fils : Seringe frères et Noailles (short: Val d'Osne).
