Annotation

Unveiled on 5 January 1988, the 100th anniversary of Pihkala's birth. The memorial is based on the plans of Alpo Sailo (1877-1955), the husband of Nina Sailo.

Sculptor

Nina Sailo, née Stünkel (Viipuri 1906 - 1988), Finnish sculptor, , married with Alpo Sailo (Wikipedia).
