Description

Two stone statues on the corners of a small square on the gothic (east) façade of the town hall:

south corner: Santa Eulàlia - Saint Eulalia of Barcelona, co-patron saint of Barcelona, was a thirteen-year-old Roman Christian virgin who suffered martyrdom in Barcelona during the persecution of Christians in the reign of emperor Diocletian (Wikipedia).
north corner: Sant Sever - Saint Severus of Barcelona, bishop of Barcelona and was martyred during the persecution of Christians by Diocletian in AD 304 (Wikipedia).

Annotation

The statues date from the 15th century, the one of St. Sever is a replica from the 19th century made by Joan Flotats.
