Description

Iron statue on a corinthian iron column with marine reliefs and in the center ship prows with lanterns and the coat of arms of Barcelona. At the foot of the column are tritons and dolphins spouting water in in a fountain basin.

Annotation

Erected in 1851 by Francesc D. Molina i Casamajó. The model was made by Damià Campeny and the sculptor was Santigosa.
