Description
Bronze ship on a triangular granite pedestal, with on every side a different stone plaquette. One commemorates the 5th centennary of the discovery of America, the second an homage to all "defenders of the Spanish flag" and the third has only a coat-of-arms.

(The town of Madrigal de las Altas Torres to all those who in the past defended with honor the flags of Spain, in special tribute to those who did that between 1810-1898
Annotation
The Parque de la Hispanidad is located at the entrance of the town of Madrigal de las Atlas Torres at the Arévalo gate. In this park are several monuments, two of which have a relation to the discovery of America:
- Monument by the Alcaldes V Centenario.
- Fifth Centenary
