Description

Fountain with on a column the head of Ángeles Machado, and in a wall a stone relief of the legend of La Guancha: During the conquest, a Castilian captain spotted a beautiful Guanche woman drawing water from a source, who ran away so quickly that he could not catch her - and of course, he never saw her again. The relief shows the guanche girl at a stream, with in the backgroup a cactus and working volcano.
