Statues - Hither & Thither

 

Description

Two prisms are placed vertically in the central part and a thermometer is placed between them. Currently, this structure is topped only by a turtle, which was previously surrounded by an iron sphere with the signs of the Zodiac and a map of the island of Tenerife.

The sculpture is surrounded by a series of benches under concrete and wooden pergolas. On these benches, polychrome mosaics decorate the back of the seats. It represents the homage to the island of Tenerife, the customs of its pre-Hispanic inhabitants and its climate.
