Description

At the east side of the Calle los Príncipes the rock has cut away to make place for the road. Against the rock a wall of basalt stone is made, in which six arched niches are made, filled with white stones and a grey stone with the contour of the Canarian Islands La Palma, Gomera, Hierro, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. At the other side of the road, opposite La Palma, is the arch with the island of Tenerife. Above the six islands, on a second level are arches with palm trees and other plants.
