Statue of Alonso Díaz, "the brave Guanche", with staff and and his catch. This Guanche chief complained in 1509 to king Fernando el Católico that the Adelantado Alonso Fernàndez de Lugo had stolen 200 goats. By royal order the adelanto had to return those.
