Description

Statue of a women looking out to sea, waiting for her husband's return.

This statue stands a few meters from the 'Retorno seguro' monument to the sailor by the same sculptor and which is unveiled on the same day and has an identical sign.

Another copy of this statue, executed in concrete, is in El Cotillo.

men and women of the sea and their families, who in
hard times contributed significantly to the
development of Corralejo.
