Wrought Iron statue of Iqbal Masih holding in his right arm a book and pulling with his lift arm a child. The holes in the back of Masih refer to his murder.
In the two other copies of this statue on Gran Canaria, he holds the book in his outstretched hand. It is possible that this statue is deformed.

The identical statue is in three towns on Gran Canaria: Telde, Vecindario, and Vega de San Mateo (click tag "Masih, Iqbal" below), and in mainland Spain also in Córdoba.
