Annotation
The cross was designed after an old concrete cross on that spot. This project was led by Santiago Santana Diaz, with the suggestions made by Néstor Alamo. It was made by three carvers from Arucas (José Hernández Armas, Juan Santana Santana and Juan Pérez Rodríguez). This cross was broken into pieces in 1970 and replaced by a new cross with small adjustments sculpted by Santiago Santana.
