Bronze ship on a granite column.
Inscription(s)
On the granite column there are two metal plaques. One with the inscription:
LA VILLA DE ROTA
EN RECONOCIMIENTO
A TODOS LOS QUE
PARTICIPARON EN
EL DESCUBRIMIENTO
DE AMERICA.
Translation: The village of Rota
In recognition
To all who participated in
The discovery
Of America.
And the second one the symbol of the 5th centenary with the years 1492-1992.
The ship is signed by the sculptor: "R. Osorio - Galo 92" (??)
