Ten meter wide wall fountain, designed by Josef Mágr and inaugurated in 1906. In the centre grotto niche with group of figures of Hänsel and Gretel with a duck. The apex of the grotto is formed by a keystone with a relief of the witch, above it a raven. The walls of the grotto niche are decorated with reliefs of animal heads and mythical creatures, now very weathered.
At the sides of the grotto are stone benches with bove them on the side walls are transverse rectangular reliefs: on the left, the lost children finding the crunchy house, on the right, their return home to their parents. The upper edge of the outer pillars is decorated with stylised gingerbread.
During the Second World War, the bronze parts . In 1965, the Leipzig artists Elfriede Ducke and Hanna Studnitzka recreated the two child figures with the duck and the two reliefs based on the historical original.
