Placed at the occasion of Dostoyevskiy's 185th birthday and 125th anniversary of his death and unveiled 10 October 2006 in presence of Angela Merkel, chancelor of Germany, Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, and Georg Milbradt, president of Saxony.

Aleksandr Iulianovich Rukavishnikov - Александр Иулианович Рукавишников (Moscow 1950), Russian sculptor, son of Iulian Rukavishnikov and father of Philipp Rukavishnikov (Wikipedia).
