Sanstone bust of Goethe on a large granite Jugendstil monument (originally a fountain).
Originally, the monument had a bronze bust of Goethe by the sculptor Johannes Pfuhl, which was molten in 1942 for army purposes. The present bust is a 1949 sandstone copy made by Willy Ulrich after the example of the bust by Rauch.
- Christian Daniel Rauch (Arolsen, Hessen, 1777-Dresden 1857),
