Sanstone bust of Goethe on a large granite Jugendstil monument (originally a fountain).

Annotation

Originally, the monument had a bronze bust of Goethe by the sculptor Johannes Pfuhl, which was molten in 1942 for army purposes. The present bust is a 1949 sandstone copy made by Willy Ulrich after the example of the bust by Rauch.
