Description
Book made of Russian granite, made in 1978 during the Internationales Bildhauersymposion St. Johann.
Sculptor
- Kubach-Wilmsen, artist's name of the couple Wolfgang Kubach (Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg, 1936 - id. 2007) and Anna Wilmsen (Appeldorn, Kalkar, 1937), German sculptors. From 1976, books carved from stone, Steinbücher, became the main theme of both artists. Steinbücher were made in all possible versions, as books, scrolls, sheets, newspapers. The format was large or small, stacked, thrown away or fallen open (Ikarus) (Website – Wikipedia).
