Description

Memorial for the fallen in the first World War consisting of a gate with at the east side an inscription "Lasst einen Augenblick die hast des Tages / bedenkt der Brüder die für euch ihr Leben gaben" (Leave for a moment the hast of the day / remember the brothers who gave their lives for you.) and on the west side two statues.

Eisleben - Tor der Mahnung
A grieving mother or wife - but upright and accepting the inevitable.
A young miner as a symbol of hope for the future.
