In his right hand he holds a key, with the peace sign and the words "перестройка" (perestroika) and "Гласность" (glasnost). On the back of the quilted jacket is the quote: "Es gibt keine wertvolleren Ratschläge, Empfehlungen und Warnungen als die, die direkt von den Menschen kommen. M.G."
