Description

Sandstone statue of a woman feeding birds, symbol of charity and mercy. The statue stands in a scale, carried by an octagonal base staning in a octagonal water basin. On the octagonal base are reliefs of four putti and texts:

  3. A harvesting putto with sicle and sheaf of corn.

  5. Putto with a flower guirland
  6. Text: doch der segen kommt von oben [Friedrich Schiller, Das Lied von der Glocke, line 8].
  7. Putto with a basket of fruit and vegetables.
