Description

Three part monument: on a simple pedestal is a sarcophagus, on top of this is a large panel with a sculpture group showing a sitting women next to the grave of a soldier, and a man with a broken sword next to a plant.

Inscription(s)

Most of the texts are hardly readable. Below the sculptures is a cartouche with the text:

Den toten Brüdern
halten wir Treu
in Leid und Trauer statt. Es
schmieden einst ihr Schwert
sich.nen. Die Söhne der
alten Mark
