Annotation

The Münzenberg is a mountain opposite the Schloßberg, about 60 small half-timbered houses are built on it. The people who lived there were knife grinders, tinkers, traveling people and also touring musicians at weddings, baptisms and funerals. There is in Quedlinburg also a statue of the Münzenberg Musicians, but that was in storage because of the reconstruction of the Market Square.
