Description

Reconstruction of the Jupiter Column from the 1st half of the 3rd century AD, found in parts in Bitburg.
On the top of the columns sits Jupiter on a throne, the reliefs on the sides of the base show Juno with branch and sceptre and Hercules with club and lion's skin.
