Description
Stone column with a giant grasshopper on the top. The fountain symbolises the Carnival Society of Trier (Trierer Heuschreck since 1848), with its first members around the column:

Under the feet of the stone figures, the sculptor Willi Hahn has sculpted himself: with the face he looks into the pedestrian zone, his feet protrude in the direction from Brückenstraße out of the column.
Above sits a giant grasshopper, the symbol of the carnival company existing since 1848.
