Description

Sculpture of a man a man in a 'holiday outfit' with a hat and pipe, looking out of a two-part front door with one leg casually resting on a little bench. In front of the door are clogs. The man is looking at the Madonna statue in the Old Tower (this statue is no longer present). In local dialect 'gare' is a Durch door, and 'kicker' is gawker. The 'Garekicker' is the proverbial symbol of the old Aldenhovener.
