Description

Fountain depicting the dragon legend of the town of Geldern. Around a column the scene is shown when Wichard and Lupold von Pont killed a terrible dragon in 879. Exactly 1111 years later, the fountain was inaugurated.

Geldern - Drachenbrunnen

On top of the column is a lion, the heraldic animal of the town of Geldern.
