Column with at the top the Roman god Janus with his two heads, and around the lower part of the column four figures symbolize the cohesion of city and country. The figures stand hand in hand on a circular band with the text: hoog än leeg, stadt än land gäwe all sich hier de hand (High and low, town and country, we all give here our hands). Depicted are a two men, a nun and a boy with sunflower and pig with a coin in his mouth.

At the foot of the column a swan spouts water in a circular brick basin (filled with plants). Next to the swan the date and the name of the sponser: anno 1986 - volksbank kleve.
