Statues, Reliefs and Portraits at the Loggia of the Town Hall

Description
The Loggia of the town hall shows various sculptures:
- In a niche at the top a statue of blindfolded Justitia with scales and sword.
- On the parapet of the first floor, three 19th century reliefs show the legendary battle of mayor 'Gryn' against a lion, referring to the clashes between the rival parties Curia/Archbishop and citizenship/Council on the city government, flanked by two bibliocal lion battles.
- Samson's fight with the Lion
- Mayor Gryn's fight against a lion.
- Daniel in the lions' den.
- On the frieze above the arches of the ground floor medallions with heads of Roman emperors.
