Adoph Kolping Pilgrimage Route
Kerpen 1813 - Köln 1865
German Catholic priest, who founded several Catholic apprentice associations, one of which became the International Kolping Society
Small obelisk with four plaques:
- Small portrait of Kolping with the text "1813-1865 ADOLPH KOLPING PILGERWEG WELTJUGENDTAG 2005".
- The coat of arms of Pope Benedikt XVI.
- The logo of the World Youth Day.
- Symbol of the historic German Schýtzenbruderschaften.
Seven of this obelisk are placed along the Pilgrimage route from Cologne cathedral to Marienfeld.
