Description

Large relief on the south façade of the cathedral. The relief shows the handover of the WYD logo by Pope John Paul II to Pope Benedict XVI. The two popes face the architecture of St. Peter's in Rome and the Cologne Cathedral. On the mitres at her feet, the arms of the two popes are seen.
