Chancellor Fountain

Bonifatius Stirnberg

Fountain with a central column topped by a beer barrel and adorned with faces drinking from their hands. On the basin edge are five moveable figures illustrating the Battle of the Barrel in the early 17th century caused by the introduction of a drinking tax. The figures are:
