Fountain with several Herford characters:
- Mutter Grün (Mother Green), a 'flying trader' who sold haberdashery from her little cart.
- Trompeten Oskar (Trumpet Oskar), who liked to play for a beer a song on his trumpet. He was married to Mutter Grün.
- Herford Schausteller (Herford showmen), represented by two children in a carrousel rocket.
The fountain is erected to commenorate the centennial of the public drinking water supply in Herford.
- Bonifatius Stirnberg (Freienohl 1933),
German sculptor, famous for his fountains where the figures can be adjusted and moved
