Description

Brick wall with a ceramic sculpture on one corner of a man, woman and child embracing each other.
On the wall is the text: "es gibt kein entrinnen, nur ein hindurch" (There is no escape, only going through) and on the other side "diese siedlung wurde 1959 für flüchtlinge errichtet" (This settlement was built in 1959 for refugees).

Sculptor

Viktor Eichler (Friedland in Böhmen [Frýdlant v Čechách] 1897 - Bonn 1969), German sculptor from Bonn (Wikipedia).
