Description

Sculpture of three figures who carry together symbolic buildings of Recklinghausen: St. Peter's church, a winding tower of a colliery and the town hall. The sculpture embodies the public spirit of the citizens of Recklinghausen.

Because of some festival the circular platform was covered with wooden plates, as can be seen on our photos.

Heinrich Brockmeier (Berlin 1938), German sculptor of Recklinghausen, married with Uschi Klaas (Website).
