Description

Sponsored by Melos GmbH, a firm Manufacturer of compounds and granulates for the cable, sports and surfacing industries, the roundabout and shows a 240 m² running track built using granules in the colour Hertha Blue, which was developed for the running track at Berlin's Olympic Stadium. The center of the roundabout is covered with Evergreen artificial turf and the top of the roundabout consists of a round, multi-coloured surface. Various colours of granules have been arranged in a fan shape on the 80 m² surface, symbolising the particularly wide range of colours of Melos granules.
Figures and hurdles made of stainless steel emphasise the areas of application and the use of the surfaces. The large logo on the top of the roundabout makes the building's connection with Melos GmbH clear at first glance.

• Melos GmbH in Melle, manufacturer of coloured EPDM rubber granules, used in particular in processing for artificial turf fields, running tracks in sports stadia, multifunctional floorings and as fall protection surfaces for children's playgrounds (Website).
