Fountain illustrating three of the Munchhausen stories.

Bodenwerder - Müchhausen-Brunnen in der Große Straße
One winter's night, Munchausen ties his horse to what he believes to be a post, which is actually the top of a church tower's weathercock. After the snow melts, the horse dangles from the church tower. Munchausen shoots through the halter strap with his pistol so that the horse falls off and he can continue his journey.

Munchausen catches ducks with pieces of bacon tied to a line, which then flutter up and carry him through the air.

Munchausen rides a cannonball over a besieged city, inspects the enemy positions and quickly switches to a ball flying in the opposite direction.
