Description

Sandstone portal of the entrance of the townhal. In the center the coat of arms of Sweden, flanked by the figures of Wisdom and Justice. At the top of statue of Mercury. On the lintel is the text:

JUSTITIA ET PIETAS, PAX ET CONCORDIA VERNENT

(Justice and piety, peace and concord may blossom)
