Description

Sculpture group depicting the folkloristic use of 'Advents-Blasen': In the evenings before Sundays during Advent schoolboys blow the Advent Horn, a 40 cm long, funnel-shaped, hollowed horn of willow, birch or alder. The group shows three boys with horns, together with a dog, rooster, goose, pigeon on a revolving platform. At the side a girl with a doll is watching them.
