Statue of St. Anthony of Padua, standing on the edge of a circular fountain basin with several fish, listening to his sermon.

Franziskaner und bekannter Prediger.

Als Antonius einmal am Strand von Rimini vielen dort
versammelten Menschen predigen wollte, hörte ihm kaum
einer zu. Plötzlich aber kamen viele Fische, streckten ihre
Köpfe aus dem Wasser und lauschten seinen Worten.

Die Menschen sahen das voll Verwundering
und ließen sich von ihm bekehren.
