Bronze statue of a blacksmith with a caduceus. The smith is modelled after Oscar Winter. It is placed in a richly decorated frame of wrought iron.
The statue was molten during World War II and in 1954 replaced by a copy sculpted by Friedrich Adolf Sötebier. He used a small model which was in the possession of Gundelach's daughter. It shows a much younger Oscar Winter than before.
