Rostock / Liegende und Stehender

Description

Two statues of a robed man and woman flanking the stairs leading to the Petrikirche.
The female, lying figure symbolizes the organic landscape, the shore, the welcoming element. The towering standing figure symbolizes the structurally-Gothic principle with reference to the city's founding.
