Description
The façade of the main building if te University shows statues and portrait medaillons. It is built between 1867 and 1870 after designs of Hermann Willebrand. Responsible for the decorations was Georg Christian Friedrich Lisch (1801-1883).
Four sandstone statues and two portrait medaillons of (grand-)dukes of Mecklenburg by Genschow and Willgohs:
