Description

Bust of Fabarius in the courtyard of the former Deutsche Kolonialschule (German Colonial School).
Because of his ideas of colonialism he is now controversial. The pedestal and the information sign are smeared with graffiti, and there are two extra signs explaining why he is controversial.
The building houses now the Deutsches Institut für tropische und subtropische Landwirtschaft (DITSL) (German Institute for Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture).
